Selling in Dickson

Questions sellers ask us

Should I auction my townhouse in Dickson?

Not always. For 6/88 Dooring Street we used a price-based campaign so buyers had time to review body corporate records.

Should I sell my investment with a tenant in or wait?

It depends. Here, waiting for vacant possession allowed touch-ups and styling.

What do townhouse buyers check?

Body corporate information, levies and records are a key part of their due diligence.

Hi, Steve Lowe here from Agent Team Real Estate and I wanted to share a quick story about the recent sale of Unit 6, 88 Dooring Street in Dickson. This property was an investment and together with the owner, we decided the best approach was to wait until the tenant vacated. That allowed us to complete some minor touch-ups and bring in professional property styling to really show the home at its best.

When it came to the sales method, we don't believe auctions always deliver the best result for townhouses, so instead, we took the property to market with a price. That gave us the ability to negotiate properly with buyers and allowed them the time they need to review body corporate information, which is an important part of purchasing in the complex with body corporate. Once the right buyer was found and they truly fell in love with the property, we were able to secure a final sale price of $???,???, which is the second highest price ever achieved for a townhouse in this complex.
